Abstract


Universal management model of China 's catering industry is a the original manual la carte, checkout , this approach has been completely unable to keep up with the rapid pace of development of information technology , has been unable to meet the consumers convenience , fast , personalized , a higher quality of service requirements. In this case , the handheld POS restaurant management system developed in this paper will become an inevitable demand of the food and beverage industry . Entire handheld POS restaurant management system consists of three subsystems , host management system , the handheld POS management system and kitchen management system , the focus of this paper is the development of handheld POS management system . The main content of this paper include the following three aspects: 1 . Needs analysis of the entire system and outline design elaboration . 2 details the design ideas of the entire handheld POS management system , the development process and implementation details . Divided into menu management module the handheld POS management system in the design , billing management module , a la carte management module and wireless network module . Memory scheduling algorithms in the development process will be the LRU to improve and apply to the system menu management , both to meet the resource constraints of embedded devices , but also improves the speed of access to files ; At the same time, on how to use the wireless network database access were also analyzed , using the most suitable for handheld devices and servers connected , both to meet the fast database access , but also to meet the restrictions of handheld devices for energy consumption . 3 to the completed hand-held POS management system functionality and performance of the test . The handheld POS management system uses wireless LAN technology , and comes with a wireless network card and the server database for data exchange , and management of all operational aspects of the restaurant with a full range of computer management , to ensure that the high efficiency of the entire business links .
