Abstract


With the continuous improvement of computer technology and the rapid development of network technology, people will have more frequent interaction information on the growing demand for storage. The industry has become an independent field. As e-commerce and the rapid development of the Internet, the traditional storage mechanism has been unable to meet today’s massive information storage and data security and fault-tolerance requirements. Therefore, the NAS (Network Attached Storage) technologies is a specialized system for customers to provide special services for storage operating system or applications. Its lower cost and higher performance in the storage arena won a bright future. NAS devices function easily extendable to expand or when additional capacity, the customer can use the increased capacity that is the nature of the customers seamless storage scalability.At first analysis of the current developments in the field of storage applications and market trends on the demand for storage products. Then the market has been on several of the network storage technology, the focus of network-attached storage system architecture and application characteristics. And will be network-attached storage system solution with the traditional method of direct attached storage (DAS) compared to the advantages that NAS storage. Then, another storage and storage area network (SAN) a comparative analysis is given of the differences between the two plans complementary. By comparing that to develop software for network-attached storage importance and necessity.According to the next network-attached storage software features, introduced and analyzed in the heterogeneous network under the network-attached storage systems provided by both the network file system services. Both the network file system software to provide NAS services are the main features.Detailed design of the software in the network-attached storage software to the modular design, and the main function of these modules is described and analyzed. After the software is the realization of part of the procedure set out in the papers of some of the code.Finally, the development of network-attached storage software, a software-testing to ensure that its work correctly and stability. And the analysis of the deficiencies in the software and follow-up to improve the content. Through the network-attached storage software development for enterprises not only developed a market-competitive products, but also for the study of the network storage software, we provide a basis.
