Abstract


Objective:To analyze the risk factors and clinical characteristics and to discuss sickness situation and the differences between han and Uighur in risk factors of PTE hospitalization patient in our hospital in recent 7 years,summarizing the experience, reducing misdiagnosis, further improving its early diagnosisrate.Methods:Adopt retrospective study method, to analyze 586 patients Hospitalized during the 7 years rates of medical material complete the PTE patient clinical data from 2004 to 2010 in Xinjiang medical university first affiliated hospital. Results:It’s rising in the number of PTE hospitalization patient in recent 4 years. The onset peak age of the male patients for more than 70 years old and for 60 to 69 years old of female patients. There is about 10 years earlier in the onset peak age in female PTE patient than in male. The onset peak age of the Han patients for more than 70 years old and for 60 to 69 years old of Uighur patients. There is about 10 years earlier in the onset peak age in Uighur PTE patient than in Han.586 PTE patient involving 360 Han patients (61.43%) which average age is 61.70±15.61 years old and 226 minority national patients (38.57%) and in which Uighur is 156 accounts for 58.65% (average age53.98±15.07 years old). The distribution of the first department that the patients choose is respiratory department 296 cases (50.57%) and heart medicine department 79 cases (13.51%). Age>40 years old, obesity,embolism history and hyperlipidemia are four most common acquired risk factors and basic diseases.Obesity is the mainly risk factors in Uighur and smoking and drinking are mainly risk factors in Han people. The most common symptoms of PTE are difficulty breathing, asthma, cough and chest pain and the most common clinical signs are pleural effusion, shortness of breath, the lungs sound, lower limb swelling and reduced breath sounds.35.84% PTE patients combined with deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and in which 12.93% patient as PTE as starting symptoms.Conclutions:The PTE diagnostic level obviously improved in our hospital in recent years. The incidence of PTE of Uighur is higher than that in other minority. The onset age of PTE of Uygur is earlier than that in Han. Age>40 years old,obesity,embolism history and hyperlipidemia are four most common acquired risk factors and basic diseases of PTE. Obesity is the mainly risk factors in Uighur and smoking and drinking are mainly risk factors in Han people.Multiple risk factors existing is the important reason contributed to VTE.
