Abstract


Rhubarb is commonly used in traditional Chinese herbal medicine in China, with the role of diarrhea, antibacterial, hemostatic, anti-tumor and other biological activity has been widely applied in clinical practice. Its pharmacological active ingredient is generally believed that the anthraquinone derivatives, including rhein, emodin, chrysophanol, aloe-emodin, physcion.
