Abstract


Modern changsha was once derided as from civilization baptism "steel city", but soon it became "angry" the nation's richest provinces provincial capital. This obviously means that the period of unprecedented changes have taken place in changsha is sure. The study of the change clearly will be conducive to social harmony and sustainable development of changsha city. Therefore, the study of history of changsha city, for urban history researchers concern recently. However, although there have been many excellent research achievements, but the research of social transformation in changsha city to research as the key during the xinhai revolution in wuxu reform movement, and the social class, social lifestyle and social consciousness on the modernization transformation of the key research achievements is still inadequate. Therefore, this article is trying to learn, on the basis of predecessors' research results, through the sort out rather scattered related materials, under the guidance of marxist historical materialism, according to the theory of modernization from 1898 to 1911 of changsha city to explore and research of social transformation, analysis in detail and summarizes the related situation of changsha city social modernization start, for the sustainable development and harmonious society construction of changsha urban society to provide historical reference and experience.
