Abstract


Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of Sheng Jing Soup in the treatment of oligospermia. Methods:A total of 71 patients were randomly divided into two group. The test group treated with Sheng Jing Soup once a day and control group treated with 6g Wuzi Yanzong Pills twice a day. The period of treatment for patients was all 3 months. Remove shedding cases, each group remaining 30 people. The sperm density of the two group patients were analyzed by computer-assisted sperm analysis system before and after the treatment. The two groups of patients’seminal plasma folic acid and vitamin B12 were respectively detected before and after the treatment.Results:est group and control group for less sperm in patients sperm density, seminal plasma folic acid and vitamin B12 is obviously improved after treatment (P<0.05).The sperm density and seminal plasma vitamin B12 between test group and control group are obviously statistically significant (P＜0.05). The seminal plasma folic acid between test group and control group has no obvious difference (P>0.05). Conclusion:Sheng Jing Soup can improve the sperm density of patients with oligospermia The effect of Sheng Jing Soup might related to its influence on folic acid and vitamin B12
