Abstract


Objective: to observe the compound cortex phellodendri fluid retention enema treatments hot and humid intrinsic type ulcerative colitis clinical curative effect and discuss the mechanism of action. Methods: clinical research into standard with cases in 66 patients with ulcerative colitis patients were randomly divided into the treatment group: compound cortex phellodendri fluid retention enema (33 cases); The control group: using metronidazole, dexamethasone, tin class scattered, gentamicin mixture retention enema (33 cases); Before and after the treatment of main symptoms, signs, and statistics processing ratings to observe two groups of curative effect. Results: clinical studies show that, the treatment group integrated TCM clinical therapeutic effect and sickness curative effect, each observation symptoms and signs and colonoscopy are like curative effect next mucosa than control group. Both with significant difference (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). Conclusion: compound cortex phellodendri fluid retention enema UC can eliminate or improve clinical symptoms, promote gastrointestinal mucosal lesions recovery, definite effect, no obvious side effects, is the treatment of damp and hot connotations of effective method ulcerative colitis.
