Abstract


Since the reform and opening up, China's national economy has made remarkable achievements. However, a general increase in the income of residents, regional residents' income gap is widening. The widening income gap are many reasons to explore the impact of the income gap in this article from the point of view of education. Education equity issues related to social justice and whether equal opportunities issues. Inequality in education leads to the inequality of the other aspects of personal development, personal wealth and social status. The education of the fair is to reduce regional disparities balancer. Explore educational inequality regional income distribution inequality, and to take appropriate measures to regulate them and guide, and has important significance for China's sustained and rapid economic growth and the building of a harmonious society. A lot of research literature on education and income gap, the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, scholars choose different angle, select a different area and time, as well as the differences in the methods and data selection concluded sometimes are not the same. In the domestic and foreign scholars on the basis of existing research results using the latest statistics, the use of statistical analysis is combined with the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis and normative analysis combining research methods, investigated from 1997 to 2004 China has representative parts of the relationship between residents' income gap and education gap. This has a direct impact on our current and future income distribution policy and education policy formulation and adjustment.
