Abstract

[Background] is a basic human right to reproductive health, and family planning, quality service is an important way to protect the reproductive health rights, contraception informed selection is a core factor in quality service. Carry out informed choice of services necessary to meet the popular demand for services, and promote their own decision-making ability, but also efforts to carry out personalized services for different populations. Therefore, sexual and reproductive health of family planning technical service personnel comprehensive advisory capacity is especially important. In 2009, the reproductive health consultant to carry out a comprehensive qualification work. Currently, the status of our sexual and reproductive health counseling is not optimistic, due to lack of knowledge, skills and attitudes of family planning services personnel consulting, consulting service providers the ability uneven, the overall quality is not high, at the same time, service personnel and the masses lack of knowledge on the importance of the sexual and reproductive health advisory, the comprehensive needs of informed choice of contraceptive methods and great obstacles to the improvement of the quality of service, can not meet the masses sexual and reproductive health. 【Research purposes The purpose of this study is to epidemiological cross-sectional survey to understand the current situation of the four provinces, Guangdong, Henan, Chongqing, Inner Mongolia and reproductive health of women of childbearing age, Informed Choice on Contraception status quo, sexual and reproductive health counseling situation and needs to provide a scientific basis, in order to better carry out the comprehensive consulting services for sexual and reproductive health. The research methods of this study is epidemiological cross-sectional study, research scene in Foshan City, Guangdong Province, Jiaozuo City, Henan, Chongqing, Inner Mongolia Baotou City. Only 62.97% of the people have heard of sexual and reproductive health consultation, 57.81% of the object that the local development of comprehensive sexual and reproductive health consulting services, 22.02% is not aware of the service project. Family planning agencies service providers, accounting for 84.76%, followed respectively the streets or Juwei (8.21%), hospitals (3.93%) and community service centers (2.86%). The the two Logistic regression analysis showed that: the adjustment account of the nature, education and other factors may affect, age, occupation, monthly income, marital status, region is the main influencing factors. 85.48% of people think that it is necessary to carry out the sexual and reproductive health in the local comprehensive consulting services, data show that the demand for consulting services for sexual and reproductive health of people of childbearing age. In conducting comprehensive consulting services for sexual and reproductive health, 1294 (89.06%) expressed their willingness to accept the service. With regard to the services the object most hope to carry out comprehensive sexual and reproductive health advisory service establishments, 37.33 percent want family planning agencies to carry out the service, followed by the professional advisory body, accounting for 28.97%, again a hospital, accounting for 21.98%. 41.92% believe that face-to-face consulting services the object most hope to carry out comprehensive consulting services in the form of sexual and reproductive health, 48.47% answered lectures. The content on the service object most want to provide comprehensive consulting services for sexual and reproductive health, contraception, accounting for 53.43%, accounting for 22.98%, followed by reproductive tract infections. All survey, 706 (48.59%) in the past six months, have received comprehensive sexual and reproductive health consulting services. [Conclusion] The four provinces and women of childbearing age have some knowledge about contraception knowledge, but little is known about the principle and the advantages and disadvantages of commonly used contraceptive methods; informed choice of contraceptive incomplete knowledge; contraceptive informed choice single form of services to promote education; low awareness of sexual health knowledge, sexual and reproductive health rights awareness than weak; comprehensive sexual and reproductive health consulting services to carry out the low awareness; 85.48% of people think that it is necessary to carry out in the local sexual and reproductive health consulting services, fully display the comprehensive consulting services for sexual and reproductive health needs of people of childbearing age; sided understanding of family planning services, comprehensive sexual and reproductive health consulting knowledge exists on sexual and reproductive health of women of childbearing age will lead directly to an informed select misconceptions Occupational construction of the national reproductive health counselor as an opportunity to step up publicity efforts, consulting and training in sexual and reproductive health of people of childbearing age, and family planning services and counseling services personnel, improve the people of childbearing age knowledge of sexual and reproductive health, and to improve the capacity and quality of family planning services and consulting services staff provide comprehensive consulting services, and ultimately to improve sexual and reproductive health of women of childbearing age level, to promote the reproductive health of the people of childbearing age.
