Multinationals employees emotional intelligence, coping style and job burnout relationship

Abstract


As a further extension of the trend of globalization , the size of the multinational personnel stationed in China are constantly expanding, they face the pressure of work and efficient rhythm makes the existing state mental health can not be ignored . The purpose of this study is to reveal the impact of job burnout psychological characteristics of intra-individual factors , multinational employees' emotional intelligence and coping style burnout mechanism , so as to reduce its own staff burnout targeted recommendations and interventions , while also provide a theoretical basis for the enterprise selection and training of personnel . In this study, the Emotional Intelligence Scale , Trait Coping Style Questionnaire and the Maslach Burnout Inventory conducted a survey of 252 multinational companies employees , the results showed that : First , multinational , employees of different gender Burnout no significant difference ; unmarried employees of emotional exhaustion and low levels than married employees a sense of accomplishment ; inaugural dissatisfied employees emotional exhaustion level is lower than employees with a work experience of 1-3 years ; Commissioner level employees to the personal level is higher than the level of staff in charge sense of accomplishment low level above the manager level and above employees . Second, multinational staff emotional intelligence and positive coping style was positively correlated ; burnout was negatively correlated with active coping styles ; emotional intelligence and job burnout were negatively correlated . Third, multinational staff emotional management emotional exhaustion has a negative prediction ; emotional self- aware and emotional use on personal negative prediction ; assessment of others' emotions and emotional use of low accomplishment negative prediction . Fourth, active coping styles multinational staff of the relationship between emotional management and emotional exhaustion , emotional self- awareness and to the relationship between the personalized relationship between emotional assessment of others and a sense of accomplishment down , emotional use and sense of accomplishment the relationship between depression played a mediating role ; fully mediated the relationship between emotional use and go for personalized play .
