Lanyangfu is a sacrificial ceremony prevailing in some countrysides in Wenzhou in which peasants hold an important ceremony to pray for a bumper harvest.By field studies and data reference, the author of this paper does a research on the preparation process, holding process, follow-up and hand-over process after the Lanyangfu ceremony. Then, in respects of folklore and relative economic theories, the author analyzes the cost and profit, supply and demand relation and outside influence of faith market embodied in Lanyangfu ceremony held in the 18 communities Tongpu,Ruian. The endeavor done by the author of this paper, not only enriches the sacrificial ceremony researches of Langyangfu in 18 communities, Tongpu,Ruian, but also interprets the folklore phenomenon from a new viewpoint. The present paper consists of four parts: part one, introduce the research significance, research idea, research methods and relevant definitions; part two, introduce the culture environment of Langyangfu sacrificial ceremony in Tongpu—the 18 communities of Tongpu; parts three, depict in detail the preparation process, the entire formal holding process, the follow-up and hand-over process after the Lanyangfu ceremony; part four, analyze the cost and profit, supply and demand relation and outside influence of faith market embodied in Lanyangfu ceremony from the economic viewpoint.
