Abstract

The interpersonal meaning the word comes from Halliday on systemic functional grammar in language three functions. According to Halliday, the people as the three metafunctions one function that the speaker in language own attitudes, motivation, status and affiliation, and infer things socially. Research language is how to establish and maintain communication both interpersonal Halliday language such significance defined as \In daily life or social activities, the transmission of information not only with the language, language exchanges with others, in order to establish and maintain a certain social relations. This article attempts to Halliday systemic functional grammar on interpersonal meaning theory foundation and other linguists interpersonal meaning supplement, mainly from the mood, modality, when the state of the three aspects, the novel \analysis, designed to reveal the characters treat each other's attitudes and infer their relationship and their character traits. To the adoption of the language level analysis of interpersonal significance of discourse analysis contribute to the character of the interpretation and understanding of the work. A review of previous research, the study found the novel \Therefore, this paper attempts to study the works of human functional point of view from the systemic functional grammar.
