Abstract


Internal computer network monitoring sytem is built for managing all computers with high efficiency, and assuring informaiton construction. This system monitor computers in internal network by remote control technique. Through understanding runtime information of computers, the status is controlled. The aim is to provide a reliable, available and convinient management model for computer management and better service for improving administration level and efficiency.Internal computer network monitoring sytem is implemented by C/S architecture. The system is partitioned into client and server software. The client end includes five models, they are Network packets probe, File modification/creation probe, Process execution probe, Sending/Receiving E-mails probe and CPU usage probe. Server end collects the client information for admininstrators to moninot and manage these hosts in network.This system is developped by network communication, object-oriented programming, multithread programming , etc. The monitoring system is based on TCP/IP protocol. By practice, the system is reliable and the designation target is statisfied.
