Abstract


The reading without success there is no success of English teaching. The purpose of this study is to explore whether social constructivist theory, under the guidance of the Wild Reading helps to significantly improve students' reading level. Wild Reading is a new learning strategy for China's middle school English reading teaching reference, is also the author of the summary of his many years of teaching and research. The three-point innovation of this study: (1) S (CT), T-(TM) marriage constructivist and traditional teaching methods will not be able to two percent, almost a foregone conclusion. But the author has always believed that, in our specific educational context, only the two organic combination of English education is successful. Based the social constructivism Wild Reading, artistically combined constructivist and traditional teaching methods, and provides a new way for English teaching. (2) Wild ReadingWild Reading as a new reading training strategy has its unique. The Wild Reading aims through a lot of reading in the various contextual subconscious training and development of the learner's sense of the phrase. The Wild Reading does not involve parsing, and does not involve the study of words, and does not involve the exam preparation, not related to information search, do not even involve the reading of appreciation. Wild Reading advocates for read and read. \According to the existing EFT literature, Wild Reading is so far the only reading that does not produce anxiety and other negative psychological training strategy, the reason is different from other reading strategies Extensive that it's no anxiety characteristics. (3) ZPD upgraded version in order to be able to help English teaching is more intuitive, I do ZPD formula technical amendments. ZPD upgraded version is a more targeted formulas: L2 = L1 Z1 Z2., L2 learners with the successful learning within the ZPD will reach the level of the target task independently, such as through the college entrance examination in English in the teaching of English. English teaching, L1 learners with the existing language skills, has reached the level of the target task independently. English teaching, Z1 refers to the current school English education; Z2 refers the Wild Reading, under the guidance of the social constructivist theory. Important conclusion of this study: the Wild Reading, and the launch of the upgraded version of the ZPD, help to resolve the contradiction between constructivist and traditional teaching, help to achieve the combination of the two, paving the road of successful reading, with practical guidance double meaning and theory building.
