Abstract


Population is the basis for the coordinated development of national and regional economy, resources, environment, and sustainable development of the core issues. With the rapid growth of the population, the unprecedented breadth and intensity of human social and economic activities intensified, the relationship between man and nature are becoming increasingly disorders. The relationship between population and economic development are the key issues of sustainable development, and therefore has long been much concern of geographers, economists and demographers. The number of population structure, and cultural qualities is an important basis for the development of regional economic and social development planning, medium-and long-term regional development planning should study the important content. Control population growth, and adjust the population structure, and improve the quality of the population, is an important guarantee for the sustainable development of population and socio-economic. Liangzhou the case of the Shiyang River area, Gansu Province, the most populous area. The region higher proportion of primary industry, growth in output value of more than the cost of consumption of resources, the contradiction between population growth and resource consumption is increasingly prominent, the absolute number of the population growth will have a direct impact on the regional socio-economic goals, and even affect the sustainable development of the Shiyang River Basin. Starting from the point of view of the impact of population on economic development, access to statistical information, by actual survey analysis, multidimensional data collation, analysis and research from a number of economic indicators analyzed Liangzhou population in 2000-2005 overview of the relevance of the economic and social development; combined Liangzhou population and economic development for 2000-2005, according to the fifth census data Liangzhou, population projection software (CPPS) Liangzhou 2006-2050 years predicted demographic trends and their potential social impact analysis. The main content of this paper is as follows: Part II: expounded the basic theory of population and economic and social development; Part III: study the Liangzhou the population development status, and explore the changes in the number of population development, population distribution and structure of population movements and population constitutes quality. Part IV: of of Liangzhou the per capita economic capacity changes, fiscal revenue and expenditure per capita, per capita income and consumption level of urban and rural residents, per capita investment in fixed assets, per capita infrastructure development level were discussed, income and consumption levels are generally increased, an increase in investment in fixed assets, and infrastructure conditions further improved, but there are still potential contradictions between population and economic capacity. Part V: CPPS software development trends of the Liangzhou 2006-2050 population forecast, found in the rapid increase in the number of population aged 15-64 in 2006-2012, the employment situation is grim; future Liangzhou elderly population 2006 -2026 gentle upward trend in this the time elderly population coefficient coefficient will take on a clear upward trend, at the same time, the proportion of working age population to total population aged 15-64 are also maintained at more than 70%, is forecast period the Liangzhou total population burden coefficient minimum period ,2027-2039 the elderly population factor will average 5.72% rate of rapidly increasing elderly population will reach a total of 26.55 million in 2039, the coefficient of the elderly population will be up to 24.76 % of the total population burden coefficient as high as 57.10%, development of basic stability of the population after the 2040 ,2040-2050, the average annual growth rate of 0.25%; the Liangzhou 2010-2050 sex ratio showed a clear upward trend. Part VI: of Liangzhou District population development status and economic development level, analysis and forecast 2006-2050 Liangzhou population trends obtained Liangzhou population pressure of population and economic development, the growth rate of fast, low cultural quality, lack of development potential, aging issues outstanding, very grim sex ratio, population control difficult problems. And propose concrete solutions for problems.
