Abstract


Diffraction efficiency is one of the important indicators of evaluation of diffraction optical element, the diffraction efficiency of high and low directly affect the diffraction optical element in folding diffraction hybrid optical system, the application of this article to all the features of the diffraction efficiency of diffraction optical element in depth research. Under the approximation of scalar diffraction, the paper on the basis of phase grating, deduces calculation of phase grating diffraction efficiency formula of general type with continuous surface have been obtained respectively and the single-layer diffractive optical element, harmonic diffractive optical element, double diffraction optical element, three diffraction efficiency calculation formula of diffraction optical element. Through various diffraction optical element above the paper analyses the characteristics of the diffraction efficiency, points out the various advantages and disadvantages of diffraction optical element and use restrictions, and how to improve the diffraction efficiency is given, and how to increase the diffraction Angle of incidence on the surface of the scope of the solution. In the last part of the article, using diffraction optical element nature of negative dispersion properties and apochromatism, respectively, two folding diffraction hybrid optical system is designed, at the same time of decreasing system volume and the weight, greatly improving the imaging quality.
