Abstract

The immobilized activated sludge and immobilized white-rot fungus were applied to treat coking wastewater discharge. And the process conditions of immobilized white-rot fungus MBR-RO combined process were investigated. The results showed that the optimum HRT, pH, solid-Liquid ratio, C/N, temperature, aeration rate for the coking wastewater discharge treatment by immobilized activated sludge were 4h,8.0,1:8,20:1,30℃,0.5L/min, respectively. And the COD removal rate was 39.64%. The optimum HRT, pH, temperature for the coking wastewater discharge treatment by immobilized white-rot fungus were 3h,6.0,35℃,respectively. And the COD removal rate was 48.93%.It was evident that the treatment effect of immobilized white-rot fungus was better. The immobilized white-rot fungus MBR-RO combined process was adopted to treat the coking wastewater discharge. The optimal operation condition for immobilized white-rot fungus MBR was HRT 12h, pH 6.5-7.0, solid-Liquid ratio 1:5,temperature 30℃while the initial pressure of RO was 1.5 MPa,and the recovery of RO effluent was 67%.The results of GC/MS and UV analysis indicated that the coking wastewater discharge contained fourteen kinds of compounds, such as phenols, alcohols, esters and benzenes, and five kinds of compounds were detected in the effluent of immobilized white-rot fungus MBR, and only little Docosane left afer RO.The COD, BOD, total dissolved solids and conductivity in the effluent of immobilized white-rot fungus MBR-RO combined process were 2.49 mg/L,0.6mg/L,248 mg/L and below 212μs/cm, respectively. The desalination rate was above 93%.Thus, the effluent can reuse for industrial circulating cooling water, industrial boilers and urban miscellaneous water consumption.
