Abstract


Pain is caused by orthodontic treatment in patients fear the main reason. Generating mechanism of pain , pain relief is looking hot research field of orthodontics . The purpose of this study is to explore the process of orthodontic tooth movement galanin (GAL) in rat trigeminal ganglion (TG) expressed the variation , investigate pain during orthodontic tooth movement generating mechanism for further research to reduce positive the method of abnormal pain lay a theoretical foundation. In this study, 35 male Wistar rats were selected as the research object , the establishment of animal models of orthodontic tooth movement , take the rat trigeminal ganglia, paraffin section . Immunohistochemical staining was observed in trigeminal ganglia GAL expression . Experimental results show that normal rat trigeminal ganglia GAL immunoreactive cells in the presence of ganglion cells, but fewer number of cells , cells were stained weakly positive . Orthodontic force on 1 day GAL immunoreactive expression begins to rise , afterburner significantly increased after 3 days , 5 days in afterburner GAL immunoreactive expression peaked GAL ganglion cells immunoreactive staining was strongly positive in the afterburner 7 days, declining trend . This trend pain in patients with orthodontic clinical appearance and mitigate trends coincide. Description galanin as an endogenous analgesic substances with orthodontic tooth movement caused by dental and periodontal pain is closely related to its specific mechanism of action remains to be done further research .
