Abstract


The medical security undertakings between the health of hundreds of millions of people, bearing on the happiness, is a major livelihood issues. Universal access to basic medical insurance, is an important symbol of social civilization and progress, building a socialist harmonious society important basic protection engineering. With the social medical insurance system in China continues to reform and improve the current medical insurance has covered urban workers, urban residents, rural residents, including the vast majority of the crowd. College students as the hope of the country and the nation, the main force of the socialist economic construction, the state has also been calling for the abolition of the original \But throughout, each school in the process of actively explore college students included in the basic medical insurance system, the ways and means for the students to participate in the health insurance is not uniform, and the protection level is not high. The research literature, theoretical research, survey research, expert interviews and other research methods, selected six university students in Jiangsu province as the research object, by issuing questionnaires to students, as well as on school leadership, school leaders and hospital about leadership of the Medical Insurance Bureau interviews to collect real, valid information to fully understand the Students' Health and medical security situation Students in Jiangsu Province medical security system. The results show that: (1) prevalence rate of college students; (2) college students awareness of health insurance awareness is not high; (3) universities are prevalent in a certain number of poor students and poor students, the inability to pay for medical insurance costs; (4) school hospital facilities and health personnel, inadequate staffing, poor doctor medical technology, and medical ethics, low student satisfaction; (5) multi-factor study results showed that the students' two-week prevalence rate by gender, health status habits, exercise time and other factors; students insured wishes are families with per capita annual income, and whether the purchase of commercial insurance, the understanding of the situation, the burden of the cost of medicines for life, health status and other factors affect college students health insurance policy. Students in Jiangsu Province health status and medical insurance the problems raised in the context of universal health care, reform and improve the medical security system of college students countermeasures and suggestions, including: (1) as soon as possible to establish a unified college students social medical insurance system ; (2) to encourage the development of commercial health insurance for college students; (3) emphasis on the poor students to participate in the health insurance subsidies and Medicaid; (4) The government has increased investment in the school hospital, and converted into a community hospital; (5) to strengthen the university student health education, emphasis on disease prevention; (6) to speed up the undergraduate medical protection legislation.
