It’s worldwide trend to develop high level athlete team in Universities which is also the direction of nurturing top athletes in our country. To introduce competitive sports to universities is definitely a boost to the development of universities as well as itself. The goal of high level athlete team in universities is to nurture all-round talented athletes.This article is focused on eleven universities in Heilongjiang province and compares the athletes training systems between developed countries. Based on successful high level athletes teams’practice from other universities and my personal training experience, this article mainly explores the combination of training and education in high level athletes teams in universities to find the disadvantages in the learning and management system and offer solutions to find a new direction for training high level athletes team in universities, to provide theory support and direction for practice to accelerate the development in all aspects of high level athletes team, therefore to promote the development mode of“combination of teaching and physical development”and“combination of learning and training”.
