Abstract


For the current cultural construction of highways research, it is the weak link to combine the regional culture and highway construction organically from the perspective of historical geography. The essay first introduces the historic, cultural and ecological resources (historic and geographic culture)in the Baoshan district, and then identify the cultural representation factors on behalf of locality and characteristics through exploring environmental factors and characteristics of their distribution and transition. so transmission, representativeness, and visualization are regarded as the three basic rules for regional culture display in highway construction. Then the assay analyzes how to make the cultural representation factors materialize in the highway construction through the innovation idea, highway channel and modern media Therefore, the regional culture will be transmitted and promoted effectively, and it will relive with highway during the process of materialization of regional culture in highway construction.
