Abstract


Software is a medium of application. With its own lifecycle, it is developed in the similar process as many other products. Software quality should be improved by technology advancement and management innovation. Chinese software businesses, especially those small and medium ones, largely depend on the continual improvement of their proprietary software. Thus, only if improvement framework and evaluation system are properly established, they can pioneer a path for quality improvement with enterprise characteristics without being restrained to the criterion and models.Although it is a process improvement criterion well recognized by software industry, CMM/CMMI is only a complex conceptual model and is hard to be performed. Different businesses and their staffs have different understandings over CMMI implementation as well as its evaluation analysis. This thesis focuses on analytical hierarchy process which is introduced into process improvement and evaluation system. It takes advantage of the combination of quantifying and qualifying analysis, figures out the weight of each factor in the project management and evaluation system in LK Ltd., solves the quantifying problem of evaluation factors in LK Ltd. and gives the reference to business process improvement.
