Abstract


By analyzing the "experience" process, this paper illustrates the value of first-hand perception in artistic creation. The logicality of the seemly illogical verb "experience" is also discussed from the creator’s perspective.In Chapter One, "experience" is defined so as to get a tentative idea; Chapter Two points out that the subject of experience is a unified duality; Chapter Three holds that creative motives direct "experience"; Chapter Four and Five discuss the characteristics of "experience"----purity and temporality; Chapter Six and Seven state the role and significance of "experience" in creation.
