Abstract


While privately operated movie and television companies in China are booming in the macroscopic background of the reform of culture industry, though having experienced various difficulties and hardness, in terms of the present development situation and the future trend, privately operated movie and television companies in Shaanxi Province are the inevitable results of macroscopic policy of West Development boosts to movie and TV estate. These types of companies in Shaanxi Province have already become an efficient part that complete the mainstream pictures and media studios in Shaanxi Province. They have become the propeller of enriching program resource and expanding the movie and TV market. They have also become the core force of’Movie and television Shaanxi army’, representing Shaanxi culture throughout the country even all over the world.This dissertation chooses privately operated movie and television companies as its object of study, and restricts the range of study within the boundary of Shaanxi Province. This dissertation uses relevant theories such as Economics, Principles of Management and science of culture to probe into the present situation of privately operated movie and television companies in Shaanxi Province. By interviewing and investigating some specific privately operated movie and television companies, this dissertation analyses the difficulties that they confronted as well as the resolving ways. As the introduction to the background of the study, Chapter One mainly defines and expounds the concept, characteristic and living environment of privately operated movie and television companies. Chapter Two analyses the present development situation of privately operated movie and television companies in Shaanxi Province from three aspects, which are development course, development causes and the present development situation. Based on investigation carried out in the field, Chapter Three collects a large amount of data, composes to statistical analysis, and then comes to a conclusion to deliver a lecture to the privately operated movie and television companies in Shaanxi Province thereby. Chapter Four raises some questions to privately operated movie and television companies in Shaanxi Province in management and running. Chapter Five proposes solutions refering to the development problems and defects.Using the research method of literature study, case analysis, comparison, and interviewing and the relevant theories such as Economics, Principles of Management and science of culture, this dissertation alternately analyses the achievements and defects of privately operated movie and television companies in Shaanxi Province in its developing process, so as to provide some theoretical suggestions and valuable ideas to the development of privately operated movie and television companies in Shaanxi Province.
