Abstract

Since simultaneous switching noise generated by the noise current , power integrity problem has now become a constraint entire high-speed digital system performance is a key factor. Component packaging and circuit board power / ground plane as an integral part of the power distribution system for these noise currents provide coupling path . Thus a well- designed power distribution system to guarantee the performance and stability of the whole system is its importance. In order to ensure the design of a good power distribution system , the power distribution system accurate and fast analysis and optimization of the noise on the screen are very important . In the power distribution system by adding decoupling capacitors to improve power distribution system performance, ensure the integrity of a system power supply main , practical approach . Power distribution network of high-speed digital systems largest and most complex interconnect structure , accounting for all of the interconnections of space 30% -40% . All system components are directly or indirectly connected to the power distribution network, the number of thousands of devices in the system , so the power distribution network design and power integrity analysis is the most complex digital system design of a ring . Power Distribution Network Design is the core of high-speed digital system design , and its direct impact on the power integrity , signal integrity and electromagnetic integrity system performance. This thesis focuses on the high-speed digital system power distribution network design and power integrity analysis of this topic , and explores the close contact with the power supply noise rejection and power distribution network element modeling and analysis , and ultimately help Cadence Power Integrity tools Allegro PCB PI completed the actual power distribution network design .
