Abstract


Language as the carrier of culture and communication tool, is an indispensable factor in the culture. With the exchange among countries of different languages ??and cultures, languages ??borrow an inevitable but also very important linguistic phenomenon. Vocabulary borrowing is the most active ingredient, by the word has not only enriched the vocabulary borrowed language, spread cultural hosted by the language itself. The contact of the two languages ??of English and Chinese, due to different historical periods and produce different levels, different range of languages ??borrow. Early in the closed state of the closed-door policy, between English and Chinese to borrow a \Since China's reform and opening up, China's economy and overall national strength has made rapid development, the rapid increase of international status, the more and more frequent contact between China and the world. In this context, the Chinese culture is becoming a strong culture. Along with borrowed Chinese vocabulary in the English language in the scale and extent of a lot of changes, not only the introduction of more and more Chinese vocabulary and vocabulary introduced is no longer lag behind those on behalf of the Chinese culture things. Currently, more the domestic scholars study Chinese English loanwords were analyzed from the perspective of lexicology, etymology, sociology Chinese English loanwords, but relatively speaking, to study Chinese loanwords in English or a minority. So, the need for wide-ranging, in-depth, systematic study of Chinese loanwords in English language sector. The paper first recalls from historical depth level the language research sector of Chinese loanwords in English, as the basis of this study, the elaboration of the concept of Chinese loanwords in English. At the same time, the use of the basic theory of cross-cultural communication, and linguistics analysis to generate of Chinese Loanwords the reason English language contact and lexical gaps is the main reason for Chinese loanwords in English. In this paper, the method of literature research on Chinese loanwords in English statistics, classification, analysis of the social background of these foreign words, applied to the study on the basis of the previous translation Chinese loanwords in English translation provide theoretical support for the analysis of Chinese loanwords in English translation. In addition, the authors explore the zero translation in major domestic and foreign media and stylistic, this confirms zero translated as the unique advantages of the English translation of Chinese loanwords.
