Abstract


Continue to strengthen the role of human capital in economic growth , the impact of the pension insurance of investment in human capital has also been more attention . This paper reviewed the old-age insurance and investment relationship between economic growth and human capital , and OLG model recalled the old-age insurance the PAYG pension insurance fund accumulation system different effects on economic growth and investment in human capital . Previous literature , literature of China's urban pension insurance and human capital investment less on some assumptions in the theoretical model does not match with the situation in China , and the empirical analysis on the situation in China is rare . Combining with the reform of the pension insurance system in China's urban development process, and made ??some analysis of the impact of human capital investment of China's urban pension insurance . Theoretical model , we use the OLG model to study altruistic motives , intertemporal decision making consumers how to choose the optimal consumption , savings and investment in human capital makes its own utility maximization . Altruistic motives and results are clear and distinguish between the behavior of the human to the next generation of people consider human capital investment , personal decisions and can not affect the average level of society , unable to determine the impact on future output and income . Taking into account the actual situation of the Chinese economy , the paper uses the current solution rather than the dynamic equilibrium solution to analyze the impact of the pension insurance of investment in human capital . And in conjunction with other literature analysis concluded that the current pension insurance on human capital investment and other economic factors related . Analysis of the empirical results , the paper uses the panel data of China 's 30 provinces and cities in 1999-2004 , the pension insurance of investment in human capital , that was negatively related to the investment in human capital from the country , the old-age insurance . Meanwhile, the data analysis of the eastern region provinces and cities , reached the opposite conclusion . Conclusion This model pension insurance of investment in human capital impact is uncertain match. By other relevant literature , this paper analyzes the possible influencing factors , certain referential significance to explore the optimal pension replacement rate , the promotion of human capital investment and economic growth . Finally, the proposed policy recommendations to promote the reform of China's urban pension insurance .
