Abstract

Implemented in our government since the reform and opening up, the situation of a positive foreign trade policy measures as well as the deepening of economic globalization, China's foreign trade has made a rapid progress, it will not only promote the development of international trade as a whole, but also for China's rapid economic favorable support. Which expand the scale of bilateral trade in China and Australia, Although the growth rate of the total trade between the two countries, but its proportion in China's foreign trade volume is still far less than the level of trade of the United States, Japan and other countries and China, however, trade between the two countries, and Australia began to receive more and more attention, this is mainly due to the import and export trade between the two countries economic development of the two countries have an important role. First, due to the rapid development of China's industrialization and the export of manufactured goods increasing of Australia's rich resource-intensive primary products increasing demand to expand the import of such products to meet our demand for primary products; Meanwhile, China's exports to Australia cheap labor-intensive products for Australian consumers brought huge benefits, to some extent, to stabilize the inflationary pressures in Australia, and China's huge import market for Australian manufacturers provide a stable sales sites, bringing its unlimited business opportunities. This shows that bilateral trade is mutually beneficial. In this paper, by studying the impact of bilateral trade on China's economic development. This study first established based on the rapid development of the status quo of China's foreign trade, the increase in total trade, import and export commodity structure upgrading and diversification of foreign trade market further development on China's economy has played an important role in promoting. And specific analysis of nearly 40 years after the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the rapid development of Sino-Australian trade and trade situation between the two countries, including the rapid growth of the total imports and exports and trade between the two countries, the enhancement of the product structure, and further through both qualitative and quantitative aspects to analyze research foundation for the rapid development of trade between the two countries, and Australia, by a different factor endowments of the two countries view bilateral trade complementarity, calculated using both the three indices of ten categories of products to STIC standard classification specific analysis: the revealed comparative advantage index, the trade complementarity index and the trade competitiveness index shows that the two countries have different comparative advantages of similar products, the trade are highly complementary. The empirical analysis further showed that the trade and Australia's role in promoting the development of China's rapid economic development. Finally, a brief description of the trade between the two countries some of the challenges that exist in our country to take policy responses and measures to promote the healthy and stable development of bilateral trade, and to contribute to the further development of China's economic.
