Abstract


Since 1990s, with the rapid development of information technology and economic globalization, the international service trade has been main content between countries which improve the stature of service trade. Developing service trade has become the main trend to push economic development between countries and regions. Meanwhile, with the development of economy, division of labor was deepened and economic efficiency depends on more established relationship between various departments. Under this trend, producer service industry has developed rapidly which was separated from the internal production services department of manufacture and become important features of late industrialization in advanced industrialized countries. Therefore, trade in producer service has become the main content and developing trend of world services trade. Trade in producer services has risen as the core of service trade and paly an impportant rolefor development of the economy and international competition.With the accelerating of international industrial structure adjustment, the modern manufacturing and fusion of producer services penetrated.As the intermediate input of manufacture, the knowledge capital, human capital, the capital of technology capital which are contained in productice service industry play a decisive role for promoting the efficiency of manufacture. At present, with China’s manufacturing industries fierce comprtition, productive service throughout the production process become the main source of product’s difference and value-added. But domestic productive service trade can’t meet manufacturing industries’developing needs, so importing productive service has obvious stimulative effect for Chinese manufacturing industries’ efficiency improvement. This paper aims to analyze the impact to Chinese manufacturing industries’competitivenes as for trade in producer services.This paperl is totally divided into five parts. The introduction review the related domestic and foreign literature and related theoris between trade in producer services and Chinese manufacturing competitiveness. The first chapter defines the concept of trade in producer services and the characteristic, analyzed the development course and the present situation of it; The second chapter presents some theory foundations of trade in producer services,analyze the mechanism and conditions to implementing influences for manufacturing industries. Chapter 3 applies econometric model to analyze the relationship between producer service’import and export and Chinese manufacturing competitiveness.Chapter 4 gives some measures and suggestions for the development of trade in producer services.
