Abstract


In Chinese the "V+D" Structure is a special one which shares the similar characteristics in the syntactic structure with Vietnamese "V+D" Structure. The "V+D" Structure in the two languages is combinated by a verb and a directional verb. Although the number of directional verb is very small in both Chinese and Vietnamese, they are playing an important role in language communication. They also have their own value and significance in syntactic form, grammatical functions, semantic features. This paper researches and investigates Chinese and Vietnamese Verb to analyse their structural and explore the semantic characteristics and the combination functions.The editors’main contents as follows:The comparison of the composition, the ability of matching, combining function and the semantic characteristics in Chinese and Vietnamese "V+D" Structure. Based on the above study, let’s analyse and compare the similarities and differences for "V+D" structure between the two sources in Vietnamese and Chinese languague.
