Abstract


The construction of harmonious culture in rural areas is one of the important parts of the whole construction of the harmonious culture in our country. Nowadays, with the great concerns of the Party and the Central Government, the economies in rural areas is developing very fast, the farmers are enjoying a healthier and more civilized lifestyle, more forms of cultural activities are emerging in rural areas. All of these are beneficial to the construction of the harmonious culture in rural areas. While this time, there appear such problems in the construction process as the decline of moral qualities, the lack of the faiths and beliefs of the farmers, the variations of the rural traditional cultures, the emerging of the patriarchal clan powers in rural areas and the shortage of the very nature of the construction of the rural harmonious culture. These problems result from both the influences of the social transformation and the influences of the intrinsic obstacles of the market economy, as well as the great impacts of globalization. So we must, with the leadership of the scientific development theory and with the core value system of socialism as the basis, construct the physical foundation of the construction of the rural harmonious culture and put more emphasis on education to improve farmers’literary level and moral qualities. Furthermore, we must also develop the construction of the mass media to create a pleasant atmosphere for the public opinions. Meanwhile, to ensure the smooth development of the construction of the rural harmonious culture, the operating system for the construction has also to be improved.
