Abstract


Darwin's theory of evolution to promote the progress and development of human society, but also the negative impact of social Darwinism: War conflict between the ethnic massacres, the ecological crisis, the nuclear threat, lack of resources, environmental pollution, moral turpitude, beliefs crisis; injustice between the countries and regions, the imbalance brought about by the development of the global problems. Therefore, in the face of the modern problems of social development, we need more reflection and criticism of social Darwinism. Reflect on the ecological crisis, the construction of the eco-social, sober understanding and grasp of the era in which scientific analysis, a comprehensive study to address the survival and development issues facing society. And thus establish the greatness of the firm belief of Marxism and patriotic ideals and beliefs, and to foster the development of a new concept of the modern society with the times theoretical quality, and strive for the progress and development of human society. This article is composed of two parts by the introduction and body. Introduction Introduction Darwin's research background and significance with domestic and foreign research status. Research background and significance of that to expand the breadth and depth as well as timeliness and global and other aspects of social Darwinism. Research status at home and abroad, that the study of Chinese and foreign scholars of social Darwinism. The body consists of three parts. Part I: overview of Darwin's theory of evolution and social Darwinism, mainly through an overview of the theoretical connotation of Darwin's theory of evolution and social Darwinism, and the difference between them and contact made to define and elaborate, below construct a relatively clear premise and the scope of the discussion. Part II: the social consequences of social Darwinism detailed analysis of the social consequences of social Darwinism, which is a detailed discussion of social Darwinism and social consequences in Western society and modern society. Part III: the critique of social Darwinism by definition fallacy of social Darwinism, racism, racism, eugenics, market Darwinism critique Darwin's theory of evolution applied to society, a revelation made specifically addressed. Through reflection of social Darwinism, so we understand the needs of the community change, the development of human needs, social theory, social development will move toward the development of a multi-polar mode.
