Abstract


The western development strategy, the Pan-Pearl River Delta regional cooperation, China - ASEAN Free Trade Area and the establishment of a bridgehead construction for the development of Yunnan Province is a rare historical opportunity. But these opportunities also in Yunnan lags behind the industrial structure and economic development has posed a severe challenge. How to make the region's economic structure adjustment to the achievement of the healthy development of Yunnan's economy has far-reaching significance. Economic restructuring is a long-term dynamic process, including the ownership restructuring, regional restructuring, product structure adjustment, industrial restructuring and urban-rural structural adjustment. This paper studies the economic structural adjustment mainly from the industrial restructuring and regional economic restructuring two aspects of research. Changes in the industrial structure has an important influence on economic growth. Since changes in the industrial structure largely determines the capital, technology, labor and other factors of production, allocation of resources, which in turn determines the allocation of resources of economic growth. If the changes in the industrial structure is reasonable, and the allocation of resources, technical progress to adapt, it will promote economic development. On the contrary, hinder economic development. The existence of regional economic disparities and changes in varying degrees inspired the development of the regional economic entities enthusiasm, but gave too large regional economic disparities regional economic development has brought many negative effects. Such as local protectionism is rampant, the regional market segmentation, disorderly competition between regional economy, regional economic development and short-term behavior. Disparity of regional economic development, if long-term lack of effective control, will inevitably result in increased social inequity, instability factor increases, and eventually could affect the sustainability of regional economic development, reducing the overall efficiency of the economy.
