With the accelerating process of global economic integration, the urban agglomeration in the regional economic competition plays an increasingly important role in the sustainable development of the city group has also become the only way for the development of a country or city. Currently, the development of urban agglomeration has risen to national macro-strategic level, the process of urban agglomeration development faces serious environmental pressures, so study the spatial structure of the urban agglomeration great theoretical and practical significance. So far, domestic scholars city group in the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta city group and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban research group more Chengyu city group is relatively small. Chengyu Economic Zone recently was the executive meeting of the State Council in principle by that national attention on the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing region. Chengdu-Chongqing region, largely related to the economic development of the country. This article from the point of view of the spatial structure of the urban agglomeration, analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of urban agglomerations, the strength of economic ties between the shortcomings and urban agglomerations to identify the factors that affect the urban agglomeration spatial distribution, and recommendations to optimize the spatial structure of the urban agglomeration . This article consists of the following seven aspects: the first section briefly describes the contents of the aspects of the research background, significance, research content and methods, and to play a role to guide the overall discussion of the full text; second part describes domestic and foreign scholars on the outcome of the spatial structure of the urban agglomeration and introduced the theory of the spatial structure of the urban agglomeration, hoping to play a role in the development of the urban agglomeration of Chengyu reference; third part of the use of the Newtonian gravitational formula, calculated the interaction between the various cities, and determine the scope of the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration; specific analysis of the fourth part of the evolution of the spatial structure of the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomerations and development status, and pointed out that the present development of the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomerations exist problem, the use of urban flows intensity model to do a specific calculation of the strength of economic ties between the city and according to the results of the further development of recommendations; fifth part specific to each of the factors affecting the spatial structure of the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration on the analysis, in order to be able to find the crux of the matter, the right medicine, which put forward the specific recommendations of the Chengdu-Chongqing the urban agglomerations space structure optimized; Part VI Chengyu urban agglomeration fractal study, due to time constraints, focusing on its correlation dimension research and calculation, and pointed out that the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration transport links should be strengthened; Part VII of the problems reflected in the fifth, sixth, Chengdu-Chongqing the urban agglomerations space structure optimized specific recommendations. Including: development should be people-oriented; adhere to the scientific concept of development; clear industrial division of labor, strengthening regional collaboration; optimize the industrial structure, enhance regional competitiveness. The innovation of this paper include: use Newtonian gravitation formula for the calculation of the attraction between the city, the bold proposed economic distance is another method of calculation, namely: the straight line distance considering the inter-city based on the increase of the transport time and price considerations, the determination of the distance is more realistic.
