Abstract


As the world economy and the rapid development of modern science and technology, cold chain logistics, as the national economy and the rise of a new industry has been rapidly growing. The rise of the cold chain marks local, industry and consumer awareness, recognize the cold chain for importance of food safety. To develop cold chain logistics, it will help to protect food quality and safety and more effective in reducing the consumption of food from production to appear in a huge waste.In this paper, it is based on cold chain logistics as the research background and research domestic and international cold chain logistics as a starting point, and explains the importance of cold chain logistics and points that demand from the market-oriented and mature experience of overseas, the professional third party logistics companies in cold chain logistics services are main competition in the future. From a macro-theoretical level of the third party logistics enterprises engaged in the development of cold chain logistics strategy.At the same time, from the perspective of a third party cold chain logistics business, in the micro-level of operation, the food cold chain, for example, customer demand for low-volume, more batches of food cold chain distribution characteristics, propose that third party logistics companies using TPL_VMI operating mode to operation cold chain logistics, is the most cost-effective business model, and for the cold chain manufacturers and third party logistics companies are a win-win model. And using Shanghai World Expo cold chain logistics service for example, verify the effectiveness of the implementation of this model. Finally, from the concrete operation level, research third party logistics cold chain operation management and technologies. From the quality management system, operational process management system, operational information systems, and cold chain logistics management, discusses the advanced management methods and technical support. To provide some development ideas and learn from management operations in cold-chain logistics service for third party logistics companies in China in the future.
