The thesis is divided into two parts: a literature review and acupuncture composite of metabolic syndrome maleate rosiglitazone islet cell function in patients with metabolic syndrome. The literature review section: review: the research progress of acupuncture treatment of metabolic syndrome: etiology and pathogenesis, experimental research, clinical research, a total of three-part overview. Summarizes recent years of TCM various understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of the metabolic syndrome, Overview acupuncture Progress in experimental research and treatment status of the metabolic syndrome, pointed out the advantages of acupuncture in the treatment of metabolic syndrome and its problems, analyze study the problems and weaknesses in and looking forward to the acupuncture intervention direction of the development of the metabolic syndrome and possible entry points. Summary: The pathogenesis of the metabolic syndrome and clinical research progress: from the epidemiological investigation of the metabolic syndrome, diagnostic criteria, evaluation methods, interventions, and other aspects of the metabolic syndrome research at home and abroad in recent years, an overview. Part of clinical research: Objective: To observe the needle composite maleate rosiglitazone on metabolic syndrome patients with insulin resistance and islet cell function. Methods: 60 patients met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria based patients with metabolic syndrome were randomly divided into a treatment group (30 cases) and control group (30 cases). All subjects received basic treatment, the treatment group was treated with acupuncture and maleate rosiglitazone therapy, the control group was given maleate rosiglitazone treatment, continuous treatment of two courses. Results: acupuncture composite maleate Rogge rosiglitazone can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with M (lt; 0.01), significantly better than the control group (lt; 0.01). BMI and abdominal circumference of the treatment group have significantly reduced role (P lt; 0.01), while the control group on the body mass index (BMI) and abdominal circumference (WL) no significant role (P gt; 0.05). Two sets of β-cell function index (HOMA-β) were improved after treatment, insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) were decreased compared with before treatment were significantly different (P lt; 0.01), while the comparison between groups significant differences (P lt; 0.01), suggesting that acupuncture combined with maleate Rosiglitazone is superior to simple applications maleate rosiglitazone to improve insulin resistance. Conclusion: Acupuncture composite maleate Rogge rosiglitazone improve metabolic syndrome in patients with clinical symptoms, lower body mass index (BMI), abdominal circumference, lower fasting insulin, insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR), β-cell function index ( HOMA-β), especially in improving insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome in patients with clinical symptoms than the comparison group. During the test was not found to have any adverse reactions. Tip needle the composite drug treatment metabolic syndrome is safe and effective.
