Abstract


Chen yingning has the countless relationships in Taoism. This paper had used the independence of Xianxue which proposed by Chen yingning as the main part, so as to study the background and other factors of it. The Xianxue which proposed by Chen yingning is depends on the way of Taoism to keeping healthy. When the environment had changed, Taoism had been a decadency. In order to protect the traditional culture of china, Chen yingning had divided Xianxue from Taoism. This action also could be thought as a transformation of Taoism. There was a strong feeling about saving the nation. When it was independent form Taoism there were some new thoughts in it. For instance, sex discrimination, the difference of wealth. Chen yingning had translated the books of Xianxue into vernacular, in order to widespread. The therapy of Jing-gong which created by Chen yingning had setting off an upsurge of practicing Qigong. For widespread the Xianxue, Chen yingning had started Xianxue collage and magazine which forming a good environment to study. One of the most important meaning of the independence of Xianxue is connected Taoism to modern society. He discarded the immortal lineage of Taoism and kept the essence which had practical. In surface it is independent, however, in fact,it is a kind of protection of Taoism. Xianxue pay more attetion to practice. Chen yingning had tried to connecte Xianxue to modern science. He thought that they have similarity but Xianxue is deeper than modern science. Because he thought Xianxue can resolve the illness on psyche which science can not do. Whatever science or Xianxue,both of them are study on human. All in all, the independence of Xianxue which proposed by Chen yingning is a kind of protection and promotion of chinese traditional culture.
