Abstract


Since the 20th century, the Kurdish issue is gradually emerging to become one of the major issues for the stability and development of the troubled Middle East. The Kurdish issue is not only a national problem, and is a multinational international issues intertwined with the intricacies of social development, ethnic relations, international relations and other aspects of the contradictions and struggles. For a long time, the Kurdish issue is important for domestic and foreign researchers. Which Turkey as Kurdish inhabited country, the basic demands of its methods of struggle of the Kurds has become the focus of attention. Into the 21st century, along with the evolution of the international situation and the domestic political change in Turkey, especially in 2002 after the Justice and Development Party came to power, the Turkish government began to address the Kurdish issue, to seek effective ways to solve the problem, and gradually change the past, successive governments hardline nationalist assimilation policy reforms, giving more ethnic cultural rights of the Kurds. Therefore, the Justice and Development Party's Kurdish policy is exactly what the role is the focus of this study. In this paper, on the basis of a brief review and comment on the research status of the Kurdish problem Kurdish policy under the ruling of the Turkish Justice and Development Party as the main object of study the origin, history and current situation of the Kurdish problem in Turkey, as well as the future direction of a comprehensive analysis. The main frame of the article is divided into five chapters: The first chapter describes the origin of the Kurds and the Kurdish issue, pointed out that the end of the 19th century, especially after World War I, the Western colonial powers carving up of the Kurdistan region is the source of the Kurdish problem; the second chapter, the Turkish national assimilation policies and their impact, analyzing the reason, ideas, and thus be the Turkish national assimilation policy commentary, pointed out that the national policy of assimilation is a source of Turkey's Kurdish problem and gradually sharpened; Chapter analysis since the late 1980s, the Turkish government on the the Kurdish policy shift and adjust, especially the analysis of the reason strengthened after the ruling Justice and Development Party of Turkey's Kurdish policy adjustments; Chapter review stage by the Justice and Development Party \Initiative \given the fundamental rights of the Kurds in Turkey; Chapter Looking to the future direction of Turkey's Kurdish problem, pointed out that the Kurdish problem in Turkey may slowly advancing reasonable policy planning in the Justice and Development Party. However, due to a variety of factors at home and abroad, the final settlement of the Kurdish issue of Turkey will continue to be difficult and slow process, even presented the twists and turns and repeated.
