Abstract


The measure study on sustainable development ability is an integral part of sustainable development study system. Currently, the measure study on regional sustainable development ability was carried out more extensively, but the specifical measure study on sustainable development ability of nature reserve is still relatively rare. Establishing nature reserves is one of the most effective way to protect the nature for humans at present.Measuring the sustainable development ability of nature reserves may be timely to understand and grasp the situation of the protected areas, but lacking measurement on sustainable development ability of nature reserves must be affect the further development of protected areas.Based on the particularity of nature reserves and the results of summaring relevant research at home and abroad, the paper advanced measuring indicators of measurement study on sustainable development ability of nature reserves, and used the measuring indicators to measure the sustainable development ability of Wuyi mountain nature reserve. Separately, the paper calculated the ecological sustainable development ability index, the managing sustainable development ability index, the socioeconomic sustainable development ability index and the integrated sustainable development ability index about Wuyi mountain nature reserve.Then the paper concluded that Wuyi mountain nature reserve was in the middle of the sustainable development state. At last, considering the problems found in the study, the article put forward some countermeasures for improving sustainable development ability about Wuyi mountain nature reserve further in the future, at the same time, the paper provided some references for the further development of the nature conservation cause.In order to improve the sustainable development ability about Wuyi mountain nature reserve continuely, it can make efforts from the following seven points:①implementing concrete measures further to coordinate community relations between the masses and the nature reserves②enhancing publicity and education to improve awareness③broadening the sources of financing and increasing the input of funds④strengthening the management agency to improve the management level of the personnels⑤strengthening the legal system further to governance the protected areas according to the law⑥Stepping up the research further to improve the level of scientific research on protected areas⑦vigorously promoting participatory community co-management of protected areas.
