Abstract


Since the 1990s, the Chinese economy has entered a period of rapid development, with the accelerated process of urbanization and the flow of the rural population, rural family structure into transition. In this paper, on the basis of the rural households, the rural population statistics, combing rural family structure analysis. The analysis found that rural households miniaturization, the core of the trend is obvious. 1990, 2000, China's rural households dominant second-generation households, generation households in rural areas in 10 years, three generations of the proportion of households has increased. The status of the family structure in rural areas, and put forward a detailed estimate from the two dimensions of the type of household, household size. Chinese rural household population dependency burden estimate, the following conclusions: the the population dependency burden of the rural households basic follow \10 years, the average rural household population dependency burden downward trend, which China is the background of the \At the same time, the generation households in rural areas the population trend of the dependency burden is inconsistent with the trend of the average household dependency burden of rural elderly couple households, single elderly households increased significantly.
