Gelatin is collagen protein obtained by partial hydrolysis and denaturation are amino acids connected by peptide bonds of the protein macromolecular compound , contains large amounts of glycine , proline, hydroxyproline and aspartic acid and glutamic acid, molecular contains a large number of carboxyl, hydroxyl, and other reactive groups ; chitosan is a cationic polymer , molecules containing a large number of amino, hydroxyl reactive groups such as the role of hydrogen bonding , ionic bond , etc. ; easily generated between the two kinds of polymers . Gelatin - chitosan composite film is a \Solid waste and packaging materials thrown away each year worldwide at 50 million tons , of which 30% of plastic waste ; edible film research for solving the problem of environmental pollution caused by food packaging waste is of great significance . The studies show that the structure and properties of the polymer products is not only closely related to the chemical structure and molecular weight of the polymer material , the processing conditions and methods also have a greater impact on its performance of polymer materials . Gelatin and chitosan polymer material , gelatin - chitosan composite membrane performance and structure is influenced by many factors , research gelatin - chitosan composite membrane structure and performance factors for the film processing and utilization has important theoretical and practical significance . This paper systematically studied film-forming properties of gelatin - chitosan composite membrane by single factor experiment to study the ratio of gelatin and chitosan film pH value , the drying temperature , heating and drying time , plasticizer type and amount of single factor on membrane performance ; orthogonal experiment to determine the optimal production process parameters : gelatin and chitosan ratio to 1.5:1 , and the membrane solution pH of 4.0 , the main factor affecting the composite membrane performance The drying temperature was 50 ° C. , and the heating and drying time is 5h best plasticizer is glycerin in an amount of 0.5 g/100 ml .
