Objective To observe the impact of glaucoma drugs , surgical treatment of ocular surface and tear MUC5AC content . Method of experimental group : Select diagnosed with glaucoma and cataract hospitalized patients 25 ( 27 ) , after glaucoma and cataract surgery, observe patients before , 1,3,6 intraocular pressure, visual acuity , ocular surface to change the score , Schirmer I value of clinical trials , but clinical trials value ; preoperative and postoperative 1,3,6 , ELISA test to determine the content of the different periods of basal tear MUC5AC . Control group: no contact lens wear history of 43 healthy volunteers ( 43 ) , collected basal tear ELISA test determination of MUC5AC content . Comparison and analysis : 1 ) experimental group patients before and at different times after intraocular pressure , visual acuity , number of eyes diagnosed with dry eye ; 2 ) tear MUC5AC content in the control group and the test group before surgery , compared with patients before and after surgery at different times MUC5AC content changes ; 3 ) drug ocular surface and tear MUC5AC ; surgical ocular surface and tear MUC5AC and MUC5AC content and ocular surface changes between the scores of the relationship between the 6 months after intraocular pressure . Results 1. Drug , combination therapy and ocular surface changes by experimental group before and after surgery , intraocular pressure , visual comparison , the difference was statistically significant ; tear MUC5AC content of the healthy control group and experimental group comparison , the difference was statistically significant ; statistical test was not statistically significant ; preoperative scores and at different times after ocular surface changes , the difference was statistically significant ; experimental group tear the MUC5AC content of preoperative and at different times after the difference was statistically significance , 1,3,6 difference was statistically significant ; 5 tear the MUC5AC content and ocular surface score was negatively correlated ( r = -0.375 ) ; and no correlation between intraocular pressure . Conclusion 1 local drug treatment can affect the content of the ocular surface basal tear MUC5AC ; surgery can cause ocular surface changes and ocular surface the basal tear MUC5A content change ; the content of 3.MUC5AC and postoperative IOP was no correlation ; and ocular surface change the rating was negatively correlated .
