Objective: detection of gastric cancer tissue monocyte chemoattractant protein -1 (MCP-1), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and matrix metalloproteinase -9 (MMP-9) expression and gastric stromal infiltrating macrophages Relationship between cell content (TAMs) to explore the relationship between them and with the development of gastric cancer metastasis and angiogenesis. Methods: Immunohistochemical SP method MCP-1, VEGF and MMP-9 expression in 20 cases of gastritis and 50 cases of different degree of differentiation of gastric cancer tissues and interstitial content of tumor-associated macrophages and microvessel density (MVD) analyze its relevance and relationship with clinicopathological parameters of gastric. Results: 1.MCP-1 in gastritis and gastric cancer group were expressed, but the positive rate was significantly higher in the gastric cancer group (P <0.01), and MCP-1 expression in gastric cancer histological type and differentiation statistically significant (P> 0.05), gastric cancer patients with lymph node metastasis of MCP-1 positive rate was significantly higher than that without lymph node metastasis (P <0.05). 2 count of macrophages in gastric cancer was significantly higher than that in the control group (P <0.01), macrophage counts and gastric cancer histological type and differentiation in gastric cancer was not statistically significant (P> 0.05), but there are macrophage counts were significantly higher than those without lymph node metastasis to lymph node metastasis group, the difference was significant (P <0.05). 3 microvessel density in gastric cancer tissues compared with the control group significantly increased, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01), lymph node metastasis of gastric cancer group microvessel density was significantly higher than that without lymph node metastasis group (P <0.05), but microvessel density tubular adenocarcinoma of the various degrees of differentiation and different type gastric carcinoma was no significant difference (P> 0.05). The positive rate of VEGF expression in the control group was significantly lower than the positive expression rate of gastric cancer, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01). VEGF expression in gastric cancer sub-type, intestinal type VEGF expression was significantly lower than the positive rate of VEGF expression in diffuse gastric cancer (P <0.05), but not with tumor differentiation, lymph node metastasis of VEGF expression was significantly higher than that without lymph node metastasis, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). 5 positive rate of MMP-9 expression in gastric cancer was significantly higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05), and MMP-9 overexpression and tumor differentiation and classification of relevant, high, moderately differentiated tubular The adenocarcinoma MMP-9 expression positive rate of less than poorly differentiated tubular adenocarcinoma (P <0.05), intestinal type MMP-9 expression positive rate of less than diffuse gastric cancer (P <0.05); addition, MMP-9 in the lymph nodes The positive expression rate of gastric carcinoma metastasis was significantly higher than that without lymph node metastasis (P <0.05). 6 gastric cancer tissue expression of MCP-1 and VEGF, MVD was positively correlated (r = 0.426, P = 0.000; r = 0.236, P = 0.048), but the correlation between MCP-1 and MMP-9 was not statistically significance (P> 0.05); macrophage count and MCP-1, VEGF, MMP-9 three between there is a positive correlation (r = 0.491, P = 0.000; r = 0.545, P = 0.000; r = 0.304 , P = 0.010); between the expression of VEGF and MVD was positively correlated (r = 0.251, P = 0.036), and MMP-9 expression was positively correlated (r = 0.311, P = 0.009). Conclusion: 1. Chemotactic factor MCP-1 by tumor cells and macrophages co-produced, and specific chemokines more macrophages to reach the tumor site, the synergy between the two, and jointly promote the development of gastric cancer. 2.MCP-1 may be formed the tumor microvessel an important factor to promote angiogenesis, on the one hand, to increase the expression of VEGF, On the other hand, by the chemokines macrophage cells into tumor tissues, macrophages can secrete a variety of angiogenic factors, thereby promoting tumor angiogenesis. High expression of MCP-1 in gastric carcinoma incidence of lymph node metastasis in gastric cancer tissues macrophage cell count and MMP-9 expression was positively correlated, the three interactions promote the metastasis of gastric cancer. Tumor progression and metastasis is a complex process, tumor stroma is an important part of the tumor tissue, inflammation along with the whole process of the development of tumors, inflammatory cell content and phenotypic changes of malignant the progression and prognosis plays an important role, opened up a new route for the prevention and treatment of tumors.
