Abstract


The purpose is to assess the relevance of the Chinese Han population aspartate (D) repeat polymorphism with knee OA . 218 has a primary the symptoms and Imageology evidence of knee osteoarthritis (OA) patients and 454 age-matched control group D repeat polymorphism genotyping , and detection of repetitive sequences alleles between relations . Results D13 and D14 allele frequencies similar to the Japanese population , and inconsistent with the European Caucasian population . The D14 allele expression was significantly ( P = 0.0013 ; OR = 2.04:95 % CI 1.32-3.15 ) in patients with knee OA . The early onset of knee OA patients D14 frequency is higher than the late-onset patients ( P = 0.043 ) , and with the D14 allele in patients with age of onset is earlier than the D14 patients ( P = 0.028 ; timing of the log-rank test). The conclusions in the Chinese Han population D14 allele with knee OA susceptibility was associated .
