Abstract


Starting from the totem and cave paintings of primitive society , human painting constantly examine and express themselves and everything around . In ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, ancient Roman sculpture , Renaissance painting , shows us countless classic , moving works of art . The art of painting from a distant culture and history along the way , the accumulation of experience on behalf of the gurus , forming a vast and extensive Art Gallery , This not only provides us with valuable experience , but also for us to reveal the context and direction of its development . The article discusses the focus on Impressionism before and after ( the end of the nineteenth century and early twentieth century ) painting style has undergone tremendous changes during this period - this period can be said that the Western tradition of painting to modern painting across the watershed . At the same time, the various schools of painting is colorful. The form of paintings , traditional painting reproduction pursued realistic expression no longer continue to occupy the mainstream. The reason for this is quite complex , including changes in the field of humanistic ideas of factors , including the objective factors of the development of science and technology in promoting other aspects of the painting concept . Artists artistic aesthetic attitude change, and actively explore the natural attitude and innovative spirit is also an integral part of the important reasons . It can be said that the evolution of painting styles is the result of the interaction of internal and external causes . This article try to figurative painting as a fragment interception out research in the hope that you can see the small , we can have a more intuitive understanding of the painting style of the West as a whole . Of Western painting styles figurative painting style gradually changes its internal and external motivation , expectations glimpsed understanding of the course of development of Western painting , drawing and absorption , as well as for our understanding of the implications of modern Western painting today .
