Abstract


The time is the space of development of the human being, time is the driving force of human culture; The time representation is basic constitution of the social consciousness, its structure reflects the rhythm and the rhythm of social and the cultural evolution. The significance is always connected with the temporal historical existence of human being, the significance is the significance of existence in the most profound aspects, the significance belongs to person’s temporal existence, it is the product of our human practice, is a kind of carrier and purpose of spirit and value and culture. Since the 20th century, the significance problem has become one of hot topics of the humanities including literature theory. Although significance’s existence, the significance’s existence of text are challenged by many viewpoint, such as canceling the depth pattern, resisting significance and the center, and so on, but we can still find the objectivity of the significance has not collapsed, of course, the belief of significance has turned from one kind of significance to another kind of significance. The literary text’s significance is a complex constituted by the literary language’s level, the literary figure’s level and the literature implication’s level (including philosophy meaning and esthetic meaning, and so on).The first two is the basic meaning level, and the third is the level which is changing unceasingly. The generative pattern of text’s significance is one kind of intergrowth pattern, we should analysis and limit text significance by the relationship between the reader, the author, the text and the social environment. The fission of human’s time experience has provided the possibility to narrative. The time of self-narrative has the function of constructing identity subject, the loss of this kind of feelings for time will cause the peoples pathological schizophrenia. The post-modern culture, including the post-modern literature, has this kind of characteristic of schizophrenia. The skillful arrangements of time succession, temporal duration and the frequency can bring the unusual esthetics effect. The explanation of narrative text’s significance is a process of hermeneutics circulation.
