Abstract


The formation of lifestyles is a process during which the subject and the object interact. Lifestyles are the way of act what the subject chooses under the guide of one’s values. One’s lifestyle determines the success or failure of one’s fate and happy life. Urban and rural children live in two kinds of different environment, and the research and analysis of their lifestyles will be beneficial to their growth and development.The research path of this article is that I first contrast and analyze the general situation of urban and rural children’s lifestyles by means of questionnaire, and collect the data about the rural children who live in countryside without their parents , who do work for others in city , and who live in city with their parents , who do work for others in city; secondly I analyze the reasons of the difference between urban and rural children’s lifestyles from economical, cultural and educational aspects; finally I put forward the suggestions and strategies which build the harmonious lifestyles between urban and rural children.The dualistic economic structure and social system, which is urban benefit orientated, are the essential reasons which result in the great difference between city and rural area. Furthermore, this is already permeated in cultural field, educational field and people’s ideas. Trending towards harmony turns into the theme of our social construction. Building the harmonious lifestyles between urban and rural children is the inevitable choice which will promote the growth and development of urban and rural children and the realization of harmonious society.
