Abstract


With the emergence of words, the growing state-processing services and the accumulation of written records, the collection of written material management appeared accordingly. Thus, archives management put on the national agenda and archives management thinking developed in ancient China and the thinking appeared early. The thought of ancient file authentication and preservation includes: The thought of taking care of the files intensively;The thought of building construction. In the ancient time, archivists attached importance to the building construction and demanded the buildings’permeating good situation, hard enduring, the waterightness defend tide, the fire preventing guard against theft, the constant temperature and wet afterthought;The harmful living creatures prevention and cure of the file thought. It concretely included completely defending insect pests,dye paper to defending insect pests,the remedying to avoiding insect pests,the medicine to defend mildewed and sun,to defend defendants,prevent and cure to combine thought:The file mending thought;The file packing and protection thought;The file protection system thought.It included using paper system,duplicating system and keeping secret system and safe system thought. From collecting files to collate the custody all embodied the wisdom of ancient people. As an important link of file management, files’keeping includes a wealth of experience and excellent tradition and contains a wealth of ideological connotations.Although it was influenced by the political, economic and social system of ancient feudal ruling class and it developed slowly, ancient Chinese archives keeping thinking was valuable. The article sums up the characteristics of ancient archives keeping thinking, empirical files custody, the custody of the narrow-minded and the thinking custody. By studying the ancient archives kept thinking, it reveals the value of ancient archives kept thinking to modern archives keeping and it is of great significance to enhance archives management’modernizing .
