Abstract


University Library as an important school information resource base , its duties is to provide quality and efficient information service for school teaching and research . The paper first defines the concept of library information service and information service model , and then introduce a related technical information service application ; then digitized network conditions , domestic and international library information services in the form of unique and new information environment , university library staff should have a comprehensive literacy . Then elaborated Central South University, available in the library 's online public directory inquiries , the use of virtual reading room viewing service network reference consultation , network database services, supplementary readers , navigation of information resources , a unified platform for cross-database literature search service mode analysis of the mode of function of the seven kinds of services , technologies and processes , and proposed solutions to the existing problems . The article focuses on the Central South University Library design a new information service model - based on RSS technology of personalized information push service model . Clear of the working principle of the RSS and RSS technology system based on the design of the library is based on the RSS technology of personalized information push service mode workflow ; research and application projects , these projects include information portal WebOPAC database products , consulting, information bulletins , RSS service personalized space virtual reference ; specific embodiment also carried out . That this RSS technology applications to the Library Information Service in the new mode can be carried out efficiently and timely information services .
