With China's sustained and rapid development , urbanization and industrialization, expanding the scale of urban sewage emissions increased dramatically. Low-cost, high-efficiency wastewater treatment has become an urgent need to address each city problems . Stirrer as the main sewage treatment equipment , and its mixing efficiency and energy consumption of the sewage treatment industry has an important impact . Develop low-power, high-efficiency mixing equipment is very necessary. Based on a sewage treatment plant commissioned R \u0026 D projects of energy efficient agitator research requirements , independently developed a new type of energy-efficient vertical agitator . According agitator design theory , computational fluid dynamics knowledge and some reference data, create impeller diameter of 1500mm, mixing tank width 4.8m, length 8.0m, 6.0m depth of three-dimensional solid model. Based RNG k-ε turbulence model combined with numerical simulation VOF method agitator respectively 30,40,50 r / min stirring speed during the operation of the pool . Which mixing tank determine the location of the free surface reconstruction using geometric format for processing ; velocity - pressure coupling term use PISO algorithm segregated solver ; momentum , turbulent kinetic energy and turbulent dissipation rate using second-order upwind discretization ; iterative scheme using low- Asia relaxation format calculated. By mixing tank Numerical simulation and analysis of calculation results obtained : independent research and development in order to 30r/min speed blender running, mixing tanks minimum speed 0.02m / s maximum speed of 0.20m / s, its speed to meet mixing requirements. Pool from the surface to the bottom stirring speed gradually increases from the center to the agitation mixer wall surface velocity decreases, the pool water in the impeller driven by a vertical swirl , while driven by the rotation of the impeller generates horizontal cyclone , which flow field to achieve a good mixing and stirring effect . Without considering the impeller, shaft weight and friction energy gearbox case , speed is 30r/min, energy consumption is 337.0W; speed 40r/min, energy consumption is 868.1W; speed 50r/min, energy as 1679.8W; under the same conditions , compared with the traditional submersible mixer with high efficiency and low energy consumption .
